This weekend I met up with my coworker, Brandon, to watch him throw his new Challenger around the cones at the Boise Fairgrounds. The mechanic who did my Inspection II said he would be there (he owns a Lotus Elise) but he never showed. I didn’t participate because A) my car is in the middle of some mods, and B) autocross isn’t really my thing. The star of the day was a fully-tricked yellow Lotus Elise. A big go-kart, really. It easily beat the Corvettes and Viper.
This was my first attempt at motion blur in any serious way. It was pretty challenging. I needed to do some on-the-fly experimentation at first. Eventually I ended up with f-stops ranging between 9.5-13, and 1/30-1/60s.
